Shades of Marble Route

It’s in the “white gold world” of Alentejo, in Vila Viçosa and Borba territories, that we will enter: we’ll start with two quarries integrated in the national reserve of Rosa Portugal, extracting marble for over 50 years and at 110 meters depth. From extraction we follow the path of the big marble blocks into urban landscape transformed into small sidewalk stones or applied in diverse monuments.
